Clayville Railroad Train Garden-Opening December 1!

Trains have been my family's holiday tradition probably since before I was born.  Every year, we pile in the car and head out to see the sites.  It's something I've loved doing with my boys too (don't worry-more coming on that too!) Building our train gardens-that's a tradition too (and if you know me, and have seen my dad's trains...well it might just be more than a tradition). 

Last year, we were delighted to stumble upon a different type of train garden.  Clayville Railroad Train Garden & Display is OUTSIDE!!  And it was so much more.  This train garden is also a family tradition. Brittney Jones told me, "My pop started building the train garden when I was a little girl just as a hobby. Over the years more and more people came out to see the display. A few years ago we started taking donations for little kids who are battling some sort of sickness and that's when the event went public and 100's people came out in the month of December." 

That's right-not only is it fun to see-but they are also supporting great causes by collecting money for local children who are in need.  You can read more about DJ, the child they are supporting this year, here. 



The train garden is open to the public from December 1-18 2016 on Thursdays-Sundays from 4-9 pm located at 8269 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd Pasadena Md 21122.
