Looking for a summer camp that’s both fun and educational? STEM Space is now enrolling for two exciting robotics camps in Pasadena, MD! Our hands-on programs are designed for middle school students who love technology, teamwork, and building real-world skills.

About STEM Space

STEM Space is dedicated to providing high-quality, accessible technology education for kids in Anne Arundel County and nearby communities. Our camps are all about learning by doing, building confidence, and having fun with friends.

Why Choose STEM Space?

- Small group learning with a 1:3 staff-to-student ratio

- Led by award-winning educators and industry professionals, supported by talented college and high school students with STEM experience

- Focus on process-driven, hands-on projects—not just the end result

- Students collaborate on hands-on robotics and engineering challenges—building real skills and friendships

A Typical Day at Camp

Each day at STEM Space starts with a team-building activity to foster friendships and collaboration. Campers then dive into hands-on robot building, guided by our experienced instructors. Every day includes lessons on various engineering concepts that campers can apply to their main project for the week.

Meet Our Founders & Instructors

STEM Space was founded by Ryan Rich, an internationally and locally recognized robotics educator, and Ryan Schrenk, a research satellite payload engineer and local school consultant.

Together, they share a commitment to making high-quality, hands-on STEM learning accessible to all kids in our community.
