For a while now I've had an itch to feature amazing small, locally-owned businesses in my Macaroni KID territory of Pasadena-Severna Park-Glen Burnie. We have so many hidden gems in our area that I would love to share with my readers and followers.

Connecting Businesses | Empowering Families
Small businesses are the lifeblood of our community, they employ our friends and neighbors, and are often the first jobs of our teens. They support local causes, events, and sports teams. They are innovators, creators, and care about customers like no other businesses do. If you're a frequent customer, they probably know your name.
Many small businesses owners are are some of the hardest working and more dedicated people who pour their heart and souls into their business. In many cases the owners work countless behind the scenes and don't seek the limelight.
These monthly small business spotlights will flip the switch and will shine a bright light on THEM that they so richly deserve!
Here at MacKID we're all about making life easier for parents, and connecting you with more resources right here in our community is one way we do that. Small Business Spotlights help fulfill this mission!
Each month I will highlight what I love about a local business. Then I'll turn over the virtual microphone to them to talk about their business in their own words, while answering a short series of questions. You will see the Spotlights in both an article on our homepage and newsletter and in social media posts.
Please note this project is a work-in-progress, and I'm open to any and all ideas on how to make this fun, informative, and helpful for all. I welcome your feedback!

Cheryl is unlike anyone I know. She has a beautiful soul and energy, and she makes me feel the same about myself anytime I am around her. Her sound baths and healing sessions have both energized and relaxed me -- to a near perfect state of zen!
She is a healer who everyone needs in their life. Moms, if you're stressed, overwhelmed, confused, agitated, or running on your last drop of coffee, Cheryl is your gal!

I’m Cheryl Pace — a healer, teacher, and connector who believes that when we come together, we all rise.
My work is rooted in love and remembrance — helping others return home to their bodies, hearts, and divine light.

Through my two sacred spaces, I support healing of the body, mind, and spirit. At Change Your Pace Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork founded in 2006 in Arnold and Odenton (within Odenton Chiropractic), our incredible team helps others release what weighs them down and find peace within.
My second space, Be the Change – The Healing Collective, is blossoming into its next evolution — expanding through collaboration with Perilla Wellness in Arnold and Salt Wellness in Queenstown. Together, we’re creating a of heart-centered healing where connection, trust, and collaboration become the medicine. Together, we shine brighter.
I’m also honored to serve on the Co-Creation Council of ACT – A Community of Transformation, an inspirational, heart-centered community devoted to nurturing profound personal and collective transformation as it steps into its 25th year of service and light. We gather the 2nd Sunday of every month.
