Hello Macaroni KID Friends!
I'm Laura, and I'm thrilled to be the publisher for Macaroni KID for the northern areas of Anne Arundel County that include Pasadena, Severna Park, Glen Burnie, Millersville, Arnold, Severn, and Linthicum. I have loved being a part of this Macaroni KID community for many years, by reading the weekly newsletters, attending Macaroni KID events and being a guest contributor.
I've been a Maryland transplant from Missouri since my college days and have lived in Pasadena for 11 years. Given how much I love the water, history, crab cakes, crab dip, and anything with Old Bay on it, Maryland feels like home. My husband Wil is a native Marylander and we love raising our 10 year-old son Quinten here.
My family and I love all the many parks, restaurants, beaches, locally-owned small businesses and kid-oriented places and events our awesome area in northern Anne Arundel County has to offer.
For mommy-me time I enjoy singing, listening to music, yoga, practicing holistic wellness, trying new recipes, and travelling.
I am excited to share my experiences with you and am even more excited for you to share YOUR community events, listings, scoops on local businesses, information for families, etc. Please send them my way--Macaroni KID is all about you, your family and our community!
I am passionate about supporting other parents during this wild and wonderful parenthood journey, so I endeavor to share events and provide resources just for YOU too!
