One of the hardest things when I was pregnant was making a decision about car seats. There are just so many options-and so many different features-I was immediately overwhelmed. The technology is constantly evolving-and there are even new features. The thing about car seats thought-they are one of the  most important pieces of baby gear needed-so I spent a lot of time researching.

You might be familiar with Chicco’s KeyFit 30 Infant Car Seat, which has been ranked #1 for many years, and Chicco has been making baby gear for more than 50 years.   Their brand new Fit2 Infant & Toddler Car Seat offers two positions to comfortably accommodate both infants and toddlers, making it easier to follow the AAP recommendation for children to ride rear-facing – the safest position – until at least age 2.

The one thing that always made me crazy is how difficult car seats and and bases are to adjust.  Thanks to an intelligent 2-stage design, the Fit2 easily converts from infant to toddler position using the built-in stage-position lever, all without taking up additional space in your vehicle.

Check out this video to see how easy the Fit2 is to use:

Chicco stands by the AAP in recommending that children ride rear-facing for at least 2 years. This is why they’re launching a new campaign next month to increase the number of children who ride rear-facing longer by empowering parents to celebrate and share their efforts to keep their kids rear-facing.   The Fit2 is compatible with most Chicco strollers, including Chicco’s latest introductions, the BravoFor2, Bravo, Viaro and Urban Strollers.

The Fit2 is exclusively available online and in stores at Babies”R”Us for $279.99.
