VOTE for Best Lights in AA County & Win ONE YEAR of Kid's Meals!

Contest sponsored by Texas Roadhouse Pasadena

One of our favorite traditions for the holidays is to pack up some snacks (or a picnic for dinner) and head out to drive around and look at Christmas lights. Whether they are neighborhood displays or traditions open to the public-we turn up the holiday tunes in the car and get in the spirit.  The boys "ooh and ah over" who has the most Christmas spirit, shout loudly when they spot a new on 'on their side' of the car, and are generally wiped out from the excitement by the time we get home.  Many nights, we get them in their jammies before heading out so we come home and head right to bed-likely dreaming of those twinkly magic lights and inflatable Santas.

This year, we want to send you out to look at the lights too-and VOTE on your favorite one! We've partnered with Texas Roadhouse Pasadena to bring you this awesome contest:
  • The winning home will receive a $100 Prize Pack from Texas Roadhouse Pasadena
  • One lucky reader who votes will receive ONE YEAR of kid's meals for TWO Children from Texas Roadhouse Pasadena!

Here is a list of our favorite holiday light displays in Anne Arundel County:

  • Christmas Lights in Glen Burnie Parking can be tough for this one-but it's not to be missed! This one has a train, mechanical displays-even a visit from Santa on December 16th.
  • 703 Pasadena Road-this home belongs to a friend of my Dad's and every year, even before I had children, this was my sign that the holiday season had begun. There is an entrance sign in his driveway welcoming everyone to drive through and look at the display. (often times we make a few passes to see all of it). It also features a great salute to the Military.
  • 204 Ullman Road 40,000 Light Tree: This one is a beauty. My husband who doesn't love the light tradition, but humors me and caves to the boys endless requests, stopped the car and turned around last weekend to go back and see this magnificent site.  We've heard from a neighbor that there are 40,000 lights on the tree-and I belive it for sure!
  • House of Christmas-this one isn't far from our house so it's one we frequent a lot. The boys love the inflatables, familiar characters, and I love the Christmas music.  Last week we could even see one of the young resident's of the House of Christmas peeking through the blinds while we were enjoying the view.
  • 264 Armstrong Lane: We hit this one last year on Christmas Eve and it was magical for all of our boys. You can actually get out of the car and walk down their driveway for an interactive display featuring inflatables, lights and mechanical display of Santa's Workshop.
  • "Mamulaville" in Severn - Off Ringe Drive and Burns Crossing Road.
