Meet our winner: Charles
Charles: My husband is seriously my hero. I met him as a single mother when my son was 2 years old. We now are married and have 3 kids total. He works 50 hours a week doing manual labor at his day job, but his hard work doesn’t end there. He is constantly fixing our cars and anything around our newly purchased house that needs fixing. On top of this, his involvement with our kids is unbelievable- the way he engages with them and teaches them new things makes me stand in awe. I am so grateful for him. He is strong, willing and determined to provide well for our family- which he does! He is the most stubborn and challenging person I have ever met in my life, but I love and appreciate him for that because he has taught me how to think for myself. He is kind and gentle, particularly with me, our kids and with animals. The way he has embraced us and cares for our family is incredible. We have been through ups and downs (lots of downs) but we have grown so much stronger through the hard times and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I could not, nor do not want to, do life without him. He is a leader and my biggest supporter in life (and I have some pretty crazy ideas!). He is my rock, my safe place, my home…and if you knew him, you would be able to see why!
