Take Dinnertime Back with My Chef, Michael

Sponsored Review

Pre-kids, I loved to cook.  I grew up in a large Italian family. Food is life.  I loved making dinners for my husband and me to enjoy. I loved trying new recipes and creating new recipes.  When my first child was born, I still loved to cook.  I even made all of his baby food. Then the twins were born.  For the first few months, we literally had smoothies for dinner. Now that they are five, I thought the dinnertime shuffle would have improved. With after-school activities, sports homework and more, I have begun to hate dinnertime. I hate everything about it.  I hate the planning, the grocery shopping, the cooking itself is a pain because the kids always want to ride bikes or scooters and I can't cook dinner and watch them at the same time so they get mad.  Inevitably, I put dinner on the table and immediately, there are multiple complaints.  The latest round of complaints surrounded their dislike of "bald chicken"-their new name for chicken without breading.

Here, at Macaroni Kid Pasadena-Severna Park, we love introducing our families to fabulous new businesses in Anne Arundel County.  Listen up: you won't want to miss this one!  I discovered My Chef, Michael a few weeks ago.  We've had a lot going on the last few weeks,  so I figured it was a perfect time to take something off my daily responsibility list and sub out dinners.  Mike Avent, owner, and chef, is a formally trained chef with more than 25 years of professional experience. We chatted on the phone last week so he could get a feel of what we were looking for in meals and any dietary restrictions.  Mike was easy to talk to, helpful in making recommendations, and super flexible with making adjustments to the meals we chose to make them compliant for us.  The long list of recipes that Mike offers had my stomach growling as I was making our selections.

Mike does his shopping on Sunday, makes meals on Mondays and Wednesdays and delivers fresh meals with fresh ingredients.  On Monday and Tuesday, we enjoyed Shrimp fra Diavolo and Beef and Broccoli.  The shrimp was perfectly cooked, the sauce had just the right amount of spice.  The fresh sauce was so full of flavor and fresh ingredients.  The beef was tender and broccoli perfectly roasted.  The taste was amazing. Fresh and sweet, ginger and garlic. #NomNom!  The food was delicious, and literally, all I had to do was heat and serve.  Yesterday, Mike dropped off Braised Chicken, Sweet Potato Wedges and Roasted Brussel Sprouts. Yum!  The chicken literally melted in our mouths. It was tender and juicy and full of flavor.  This afternoon, I heated up the Chicken Enchilada Soup. Guys, I wanted to Lick. The. Bowl.  I just might eat all 4 servings myself ;-)

While enjoying my lunch today, I thought about all of the time Chef Michael saved me this week.  I saved a minimum of SEVEN hours this week using My Chef, Michael!  SEVEN! Not only that, dinnertime wasn't stressful.  I only had to heat up the food and serve it.  And it was amazing.  The food was loved by even my pickiest eaters. The best part of My Chef, Michael?  It's affordable.  Two entrees with a side for 4 people is just $110 (plus groceries). Mama, $110 to make your dinnertime easier two nights a week is totally worth it!  Call him today and start enjoying dinnertime again.  I know I have!

My Chef, Michael also offers special occasion cooking, private dinner parties, girls nights-in, wine pairings and more!  Let him help you create a one of a kind personal experience!
