The best part of the summer is being able to enjoy a relaxing, splashing, fun day at the pool. While water play can be a lot of fun it can be very dangerous as well. Here are some quick tips to keep everyone safe around the pool.
- Lifeguards can not watch each individual child, you are responsible for the children you bring to the pool
- Stay within an arm's length away from children that can not swim and always keep your eye on ones that can swim.
- Use a coast guard approved flotation devices such as puddle jumpers or life vest
- Do not use float rings, water wings, or any inflatable floats as a life-saving device, these are for play only
- When utilizing a pool at a private home always assign a responsible adult to keep an eye on the pool
- Know CPR- there are classes taught locally through various organizations
- Remove ladders to private pools when not in use
- Flip over inflatable pools as rainwater can refill them enough to become a drowning hazard.

Please meet at 9:45 promptly at the ranger station. This walk is stroller friendly and will end at the playground for a fun end to a great walk! Can't wait to see you there! Just show up and bring a sharable toy for the kids to play with.

MOMS Club is an international non profit organization and has clubs throughout the world. Our chapter is for Glen Burnie residents (there is a Pasadena chapter as well). Being a mom is a tough job but, you don't have to do it alone. At MOMS club we support each other and understand what being a mom is really about.
