Quarantine gave us a chance to look around our house and make a list of all of those little projects we've put off for years while we were in survival mode parenting babies. Suddenly, things are settling, our schedule was cleared, and I was shocked at how awful our paint looked around the house. Amateur patch jobs, extra holes from furniture being anchored to the walls for climbing babies, I don't even want to think about what has smeared on the walls with those grubby hands.
Let's face it though, between our jobs, distance learning, family obligations, sports, and other activities, re-painting our rooms just wasn't going to happen any time soon. That's when I reached out to Most Valuable Painters. I was just talking with friends about how hard it is to find good contractors-let me tell you, MVP is legit awesome! Within a matter of days of me reaching out, Scott and Jhoanne were here to look at our projects and measure for the estimate. They recommended using Sherwin Williams paint and offered to use their contractor discount-all we had to do was send them the colors! We sent over the colors and they sent me their schedule! They'd be out the following Tuesday and the project of painting our three bedrooms would take three days.
Scott and Jhoanne confirmed the date with a reminder as well as a message that morning letting me know again what time they would arrive. Upon arrival, they moved all the heavy furniture we couldn't move and ensured everything was covered and protected. They filled every hole and got to work making our walls look brand new! And brand new they do look! Not only that, their team worked so hard that they finished the project in TWO days instead of three!

When we were first married and moved into this house, it was a family joke how often we painted in our home or changed colors, but as our children have grown and lives have gotten busier, it had been about 7 years since we had touched any of our bedrooms. Our master bedroom has vaulted ceilings that were daunting to us to plan to paint. Most Valuable Painters knocked this one out of the park. Working with them was definitely a home run! Most Valuable Painters was fully established in 2017 after the company where Scott had worked since 2004 closed its doors. That company, JLB Enterprise came to a sudden end due to the heartfelt passing of the owner Jay Booze. After the closing of the company, Scott was left with two options. Either return to the workforce as an employee or fulfill his dream of becoming the owner of his own company. He dreamed to offer the professionalism and dedication that customers deserve. Qualities that were not completely found in contractors they had come across when remodeling their home.
