Fun for Everyone in Your Family!

If you have not been to the Severna Park Community Center-stop what you are doing and check it out now! The SPCC has fun for everyone in your family!  Check out our top 10 things for you to do there: 


  1. Swim!  The Severna Park Community Center Aquatics offers swim lessons, a homeschool swim team program, a swim team prep program, lifeguard training, mommy & me classes, birthday parties, water aerobics programs for all ages and abilities and more! Mark your calendar for their Easter Splash on Saturday, April 14th. It includes a visit from the Easter Bunny, Egg Hunt, Games and more! 
  2.  Get Fit! Join the SPCC Fitness Center for just $18 a month and enjoy cardio equipment, weight training equipment and extended hours from 6:30 am to 8 pm. Check out the yoga classes offered too! 
  3. See a Show! Check out performances from Theater in the Park and be on the lookout for the SPCC Summer Concert Series! 
  4. Have a Party! The SPCC has over 36,000 square feet of spaces for all capacities. Host a party or a baby shower in the Holy Grounds or seminars in their meeting rooms. Their full size gymnasium has endless opportunities for conferences, vendor fairs and more!  
  5. Learn! You can find all kinds of great classes and seminars at the SPCC from SAT Prep, Driving school to financial seminars. 
  6. Get Healthy! Take part in health screenings, nurtirional classes, cooking classes and other free health seminars. 
  7. Dance! The Dance Center of Severna Park located at the SPCC offers classes for ages 3 to adult in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern and  Cecchetti. Looking for a Dance Camp for summer? They have programs all summer-check it out!
  8. Introduce Your Kids to Creativity! Check out programs from art classes from Young Rembrandts to music programs from Music Together Chesapeake. 
  9. Get Active with your Kids! There are a variety of sports programs that call the SPCC Home. From martial arts, to team sports like soccer, volleyball, and basketball, to gymnastics and the SmartFit Kids Academy offering a healthy before and afterschool environment to help increase physical activity and excel academically. 
  10. Play! Have a ball playing Bridge, Pickle Ball, and more at SPCC!
