Attending anything for the first time can be nerve-wracking, right? Walking into a huge event, meeting so many people, taking it all in and not get overwhelmed can make even the most extreme extrovert a little nervous.

We want you to have a great time and get the most out of your Pink Event experience, so we’ve pulled together our best tips for the ultimate women’s day out.

Plan to arrive as early as possible.
There are so many things to do at The Pink Event that you will need all five hours to take in all the fun. The event starts at noon and ends at 5 PM.

Invite a Pink Event buddy.
This event is all about friendships and connection. What better way to enjoy the ultimate day out than with a friend. Make lasting memories of your shared experiences.

Don’t be afraid to make new connections. Maybe you’re not going with a friend. It’s okay! There are so many opportunities to make new connections. We’ve heard countless stories of friendship and budding business connections that were made through attending The Pink Event. Bring plenty of business cards.

Men are welcome. We know it’s dubbed The Pink Event and its known as the ultimate women’s day out, but guys are more than welcome to attend. In fact, we have male guests every year, and they take full advantage of the fun! Shopping, live music, great food, and even the pamper lounge are just some of the features our guys enjoy.

Maximize your Pink Event Experience with VIP tickets. Pull out all the stops and go full on with VIP tickets. With this special arrangement enjoy a delicious lunch buffet in the Pink Café, our exclusive PINK Event bag, one free raffle ticket, and a swag bag filled with goodies from our sponsors.

Don’t miss the pamper lounge. No ultimate women’s day out would be complete without a little pampering. Definitely one of the highlights of the day, there will be manicures, massages, and more.

Meet the founders of our charity partner, For 3 Sisters. We are thrilled to have Marshall Moneymaker—also known as the Pink Fireman—and his wife Shannon at The Pink Event!
Locally based in Olney, MD, For 3 Sisters is a national grassroots organization with a mission to raise awareness and improve the quality of life for men and women affected by breast cancer. The organization was founded by a retired firefighter, Marshall Moneymaker and his wife Shannon after he lost three older sisters, Vicky, Penny, and Valessa to breast cancer. For 3 Sisters is committed to supporting breast cancer fighters and survivors in any way possible, so no man or woman fight breast cancer alone. Stop by, say hello, and learn about their amazing organization.

Come prepared to shop until you drop.
With more than 50 vendors selling products ranging from handbags to delectable goodies, we can almost guarantee there’s something for everyone. Some come for the pampering, some for connections, some for the workshops, but all enjoy the shopping experience!

Attend the workshops by our sponsors.
You can’t end your ultimate day out, without attending at least one of the dynamic workshops by sponsors Giant Food and others. A range of sessions includes nutrition, wellness, and more.

Lastly, be open to the unexpected. Maybe you will be inspired by someone you met, will learn something new, be wowed by a guest’s story, make a lifelong friend, or walk away renewed by the energy in the space. After all, it’s the ultimate day out!
