Do you have an aspiring musician or child that loves music in your family? If your child is drawn to music School of Rock has a program for them! Whether your child is beginner or advanced our technique will help them excel faster than taking private lessons alone. Our approach to music is different because we get students playing right away and practicing full songs that are familiar to them. Our seasonal programs combine weekly band ensembles with weekly private lessons to help students excel when learning their instrument. By combining the ensemble with lessons students are more likely to practice at home and learn their instrument to prepare for rehearsals with their bandmates. Our seasons culminate with a live concert performance that allow them to showcase their dedication and hard work by playing on stage just like a true rock star.

Our summer camps mimic our seasonal programs in that we combine band rehearsal with private instruction. Students will choose guitar, bass, keyboard, drums or vocals as their primary instrument and they will be cast on songs with other musicians to learn their part within the band. Instructors will work with students as a group and individually to help them master their set list for their performance concert. Students will play classic rock songs to modern pop and punk and they will leave camp with a skill that lasts a lifetime. Students not only learn how to play their instrument they also learn how to interact socially within a band to agree upon common goals for their final performance. Students learn how to interact within a team and how to express themselves as an individual within the group. Our camps are designed for students from first grade through high school. Levels of difficulty for song assignments are based on the students experience and proficiency with their instrument. We have songs for all levels, including beginners!

Our camps run Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm with aftercare options available. Concerts are held either the Friday after camp or the Saturday following camp. We offer a variety of music themes from Beatles to Girl Power. Some camps allow the students to choose the genre while others will focus on unplugged acoustic style music only. We provide instruments if the student does not have their own. Select the links below for our full schedule. We offer week long or multi week options as well as multi day workshops.
