As a child, June was one of my favorite months. I can remember going off to the Strawberry Festival at the Benson Hammond House with my mom and my great-aunt. A tradition that I still to this day, enjoy with my own children (and still my mom.) I want to share the sweet fun with you and your family, so I put together a list of local Anne Arundel County strawberry festivals. Get out there and enjoy those berries! June 1st: Community United Methodist Church 8680 Ft. Smallwood Road, Pasadena 11am-3pm. A Community Event for ALL to Enjoy! Come for food, games, and more! A family-friendly event.
Jun 1st: Cape St. Claire Strawberry Festival: 1223 River Bay Road, Annapolis 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. This age-old event seems to become more and more popular each year. A day filled with a Parade, Music (7 Bands), Food, Games, Crafters, Contest, Pony Rides, K9 demos, a Silent Auction and Strawberries in many forms, is on tap for this year’s festivities.
June 1st: Wesley Grove United Methodist Church 1320 Dorsey Rd, Hanover, Maryland 21076 8am-2pm The beginning of summer means it’s time for our Strawberry Festival! It has been a tradition at our church since the mid-1970’s and we invite the whole community to come together to enjoy food, music, games, and shopping — rain or shine! Join us for great food, baked goods, produce, activities, and most importantly shopping! Expect to see crafters, direct sales vendors, small businesses, yard sale tables and more!

June 8th: Strawberry Festival & Flea Market - Jenkins Memorial Church 133 Riviera Dr Riviera Beach 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM Jenkins Memorial Church will be holding their annual Strawberry Festival and Flea Market. Flea Market starts at 7 am. Breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and orange juice will be available for purchase. Bring the family! June 8th: The Ann Arundell County Historical Society: This year’s Strawberry Festival promises to be bigger and better than ever! Join us to celebrate all things strawberry on the grounds of the Benson-Hammond House at 7101 Aviation Blvd. in Linthicum. The fun begins at 10am and runs through 4pm. And it’s FREE!
