Holiday Lights Displays in Anne Arundel County

Get in the Holiday Spirit

By Katy Agro Myers, Publisher Mom, Macaroni Kid Pasadena-Severna Park December 10, 2020

The Holidays are rolling in and there's nothing that gets us in the holiday spirit more than looking at Christmas lights!  Each year, I take my boys, we hit the CFA drive-thru and drive around looking at lights.  We turn up the carols on the radio and talk about all of the bright colors and inflatables we see.  It's an annual tradition that my boys and I all love.

Start your own tradition and check out our favorite holiday light displays in Anne Arundel County.

Christmas Lights in Glen Burnie Parking can be tough for this one but it's not to be missed! This one has a train, mechanical displays.

703 Pasadena Road-this home belongs to a friend of my Dad's and every year, even before I had children, this was my sign that the holiday season had begun. There is an entrance sign in his driveway welcoming everyone to drive through and look at the display. (often times we make a few passes to see all of it). It also features a great salute to the Military.

204 Ullman Road 40,000 Light Tree: This one is a beauty. My husband who doesn't love the light tradition, but humors me and caves to the boys' endless requests, stopped the car and turned around last weekend to go back and see this magnificent sight.  We've heard that there are 40,000 lights on the tree and I believe it for sure!

House of Christmasthis one isn't far from our house so it's one we frequent a lot. The boys love the inflatables, familiar characters, and I love the Christmas music.  Last week we could even see one of the young resident's of the House of Christmas peeking through the blinds while we were enjoying the view.

264 Armstrong Lane: We hit this one last year on Christmas Eve and it was magical for all of our boys. You can actually get out of the car and walk down their driveway for an interactive display featuring inflatables, lights, and mechanical displays of Santa's Workshop.

"Mamulaville" in Severn - Off Ringe Drive and Burns Crossing Road.

Lights on the Bay is an annual favorite of ours!  Every year, we get our jammies on, pile the boys in the car, and head out to enjoy the display at Sandy Point Park.

North Pole Walk at Willow Oak Herb Farm:  Take a self-guided walk to the North Pole! Let the North Pole Fairy send you on your way through the garden flowers and arctic animals to the North Pole Palace.
