When I thought about becoming a mom, I never imagined that I would have a child who needs glasses. I definitely never imagined I'd have THREE children who need glasses. In the five years since my boys have started wearing glasses, I've had their glasses made at several different opticians including the one at my boys' ophthalmologist. I've tried several different practices because I haven't loved any of them. Until I headed to Pasadena Eye Care before our vacation last month. This is why I won't go anywhere else from now on:
- Customer Relationships Comes First: Owner, Martin, told me over and over again, his customers and his relationship with them comes FIRST. His goal is to ensure they are happy with the products and services that he provides. Period.
- Product Selection & Personalized Fit: We went to Pasadena Eye Care in search of prescription sunglasses. My boys have pretty bad vision and blue eyes-so sensitive to the sun. We spend so much time outside that we wanted to ensure this summer that the boys' eyes were well protected. Martin took his time and tried on several different selections with the boys. They have different shaped faces/features so they needed different things from their glasses. Avery, for example, does not have a large bridge on his nose, so he needed glasses that had a more narrow bridge to ensure they would stay up on his nose. Not only do they carry a wide array of glasses, but contacts and accessories too!
- One-Stop Shop: Although my boys see an ophthalmologist for their medical eye issues, I personally saw Dr. Jared Scheff, Optometrist, for my annual eye exam. Although I wasn't happy that he prescribed bifocals to me (hello 40!), Dr. Scheff was both pleasant and efficient!
- Location: Guys, I have driven miles for a good optician. But when you have boys with glasses. Rowdy. Boys. I can't even tell you how many pairs of glasses we've had replaced and repaired. Nothing beats literally driving up the street to Pasadena Eye Care for all our glasses needs!
