The holidays are here and what better way to celebrate than welcoming The Elf on the Shelf back into your homes! I know my boys are bursting at the seams with excitement about the return of our friend "Elfie" next week, so it was the perfect time for me to take them on a special date with me to IHOP in Glen Burnie for a festive meal. The Elf on the Shelf® Holiday Menu is back at IHOP and better than ever.
My boys were stoked when we walked in and The Elf On The Shelf Decorations were all over the store. Seeing the magic of the holidays through their eyes is my favorite tradition. Eyes wide sparkling with joy, they immediately hopped up to have their picture taken.

Once we were settled in our comfy booth, my boys exclaimed with delight when they spotted The Elf on The Shelf on the menu!

Is there anything better than Hot Cocoa on a cold night? Yup, there sure is! The squeals that came out of these boys when they spotted their Merry Marshmallow Hot Chocolate topped with whipped topping and shimmery elf sprinkles had me grinning too.

My boys enjoyed the New Little Elves Combos. They included one egg, on pork sausage link, one bacon strip. Avery enjoyed his with the new Jolly Cakes. They are two fluffy green pancakes topped with delicious cream cheese icing, whipped cream, and those adorable elf sprinkles. Brennan opted for the Oh What Funnel Cakes, golden, crispy funnel cakes dusted with powdered sugar, topped with strawberries, whipped topping and shimmery elf sprinkles. I sampled their meals and boy were they delicious! I was delighted by the big flavor in the Holiday Ham & Sausage Omelette loaded with diced ham & sausage, fire-roasted peppers & onions, hash browns and Cheddar cheese. Topped with more diced ham & sausage, peppers & onions, Cheddar cheese and White Cheddar cheese sauce. Served with 3 Buttermilk Pancakes or your choice of side. I definitely had to ask for a box to take my leftovers home! What was even better was that kids eat FREE every day from 4pm-10pm, with the purchase of an adult entree!

Kicking off #ScoutElfReturnWeek on Friday, November 29th and running through December 1st, visit participating locations and Scout Elves will provide a special elf-themed activity sheet with your child's meal. Can't make it over the weekend? Don't worry! You can still enjoy The Elf on the Shelf special menu items through January 1st.
