We've got a special treat for you in this week's newsletter! Sheena Cressor, a mom from Glen Burnie and special education teacher in the Anne Arundel County Public Schools, has offered us fabulous ideas on how we can entertain our kiddos during the upcoming break from school and fit in a little relaxation time too. Check out her article here!

My Christmas Vacation
Last night my (gift giving love language) son asked my (acts of service love language) husband what he wanted for Christmas, and without hesitation my husband said, "a clean house." Yes, I admit, the house has suffered a bit (or Wil might say a LOT 😂) during our busy, but FUN December. So, to give him his one Christmas wish, I am taking off the week before Christmas.
Plus, it's my BIRTHDAY next week, and who wants to work on their birthday? I have a friend who says no one should ever work on their birthday. Who is with me on this? 🎂
(And with my birthday just before Christmas, I TRY to not to do anything Christmassy for just the one day. My fellow close-to-Christmas birthday babies know this, right? 😉)
SO, we won't have a newsletter next week, but you can always check the calendar for the few events that ARE happening right around Christmas Day.
We'll be back with our next newsletter on our usual Wednesdays, on December 29--with ideas on how to celebrate New Year's Eve with your kiddos! Hint: I'm starting to see events happening during the day on December 31, including some ball drops at noon. Watch our site!
🎄 My family and I wish you and your family the happiest and healthiest Christmas!
All my best,
Laura ❤️
