Any other mamas feel lost when it comes to skincare? 🙋‍♀️Have no idea what products to use, how much or how often? 🤷🏽‍♀️Yep, that was me too...until a couple months ago, that is!

I discovered Skinlogic and owner Meredith Baker, and I am on a whole new, wonderful path of skincare! At my (ahem) middle age, I didn't realize I could love my skin again! And I don't dread looking in the mirror any more. I'm hooked and don't have to look further for my skincare needs from now on.

Skinlogic's Story

Meredith is a mom and nurse practitioner in Severna Park who launched her OWN skincare line last year. Meredith worked with a cosmetic company and chemist to develop her medical grade skincare products. And she's right here in our own backyard.

Skinlogic's products are medical grade and ALL are made in the USA. And get this? Even the containers are all made in the USA. How fabulous is that? I know I would be hard pressed to find other products AND containers that are 100% made right here in our country.

My Wonderful Experience With Skinlogic

In a nutshell, in 9 short weeks I went from skin with a LOT of redness, some irritation, some rosacea and uneven skin tone to skin with far less redness, almost all irritation gone and much more even skin tone. I didn't know all that was possible at my age. And a bonus--my skin is as soft and supple as I can ever recall as an adult.

Here's how my skin has improved in just 9 weeks. Note: the picture was taken under the same light, and I was not wearing makeup.

First Visit - Dermaplaning

On my first visit with Meredith, she did an assessment and determined the first treatment best for me would be dermaplaning and a light chemical peel. Dermaplaning is when the provider uses a scalpel to remove peach fuzz and the very top layer of the skin. She then proceeded with the light chemical peel. Due to the redness in my cheeks, she wanted to make sure that my skin would react OK to it before doing a more intense peel later.

Next Meredith created a regimen just for me with her products and gave me samples, to see how I liked the products and how well they worked. She even asked me how dedicated I was to my skin care routine, as she wanted to give me one that would fit my lifestyle.

Second Visit - Product Follow Up

My second visit was a week later when she asked me how the products worked. I got full sized products at this visit based on how well I liked the products and what worked best for me.

Third Visit - Chemical Peel

My third visit, 6 weeks after my first visit, was to get a chemical peel. The application of the chemical peel was quick and easy, and Meredith explained every product she was using and its purpose. Meredith gave me special (different) products to use after the chemical peel, which were convenient and easy to use.

My peel happened as Meredith said it would over the following few days. Newer and softer skin was revealed right away. Right after the peel, I accidentally touched my forehead and I was so taken aback because even my forehead was soft and I really could not believe it was MY face.

Re: products. During my visit, I showed Meredith which of my products were getting low. She acted surprised, and when I told her how much I was using, she gently reminded me that I did not need to use nearly as much of those products because they are medical grade. She was right--I started right using half as much and I continued to see results.

In Conclusion

I started noticing results right away, and with each service and continued use of the products, my skin is becoming the softer, healthier, more red-LESS skin I have always hoped for.

Here's my progression: the left picture is Day 1 before use of any products or services, the middle picture is one week after the chemical peel, and the right one is 9 weeks after my first day with Skinlogic.

Why Skinlogic Is Different

1) You are not a number or random client. Meredith builds relationships and wants to ensure you are a long-term client! She wants to know how her products are working for you, and she follows up with you after your visits.

2) Meredith is incredibly passionate about all her clients. Each session and visit is personalized to you and your unique needs and situation.

3) Meredith truly cares and wants to be sure all her products are the right fit for YOU. One of the samples of an SPF product she had given me peeled slightly after I applied it. Meredith knew right away what the issue was and changed my regimen a little. I made the change and never had the problem again.

4) Skinlogic's products are medical grade. They are high quality and last a long time.
