You'll also love the housekeeping services! Housekeepers came twice a day, once in the morning to make up the room, and once in the evening for turn-down service.
Gourmet Restaurants
Foodies, rejoice! You'll be in heaven at the six on-site restaurants at Nickelodeon™ Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya. Two are humongous buffets, and one of them was the biggest I've ever seen. It was the perfect time to try new and exotic foods. Does octopus strike your fancy? Give it a try here!
Even the pickiest of kid eaters will not go hungry here! The buffet sections for kids had loads of choices. I appreciated their detail and attention to kids — even the counters in the kids' buffet area are lowered for easier reach.

Aqua Nick Water Park
I have always loved water parks. I've been fortunate to visit many water parks across the country and I can say that the water park at the Nickelodeon™ Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya is SO COOL!
It's one of the best I've been to, and I seriously cannot wait to go back and take my 8-year-old son, who has inherited my love of water parks.

There are 22 water slides, 2 lazy rivers (including one with rapids!), 2 themed splash areas, a continuous wave pool, a rock wall, and much more. And ... because Nickelodeon ... a SLIME area!
Get There Easily From BWI
Y'all, there were 589 reasons I loved this trip to Nickelodeon™ Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya, but one of the top ones was how easy it is to get to from BWI. There are several non-stop flights daily to and from Cancun.
Once in Cancun, it's a breeze to get a shuttle to the resort, which is about 20 minutes from the airport. It's so quick to get to, you can easily go over a long weekend!
The Best Of Nickelodeon: Hospitality And FUN
The hospitality offered by the Nickelodeon™ Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya staff was second-to-none. As soon as we arrived at the resort, the concierge staff greeted us, took our luggage, and delivered our bags to our rooms. At check-in, we were greeted with ice-cold refreshing tropical drinks. And that's how it was the rest of the trip — we were always taken care of.
Staff always smiled and frequently asked how we were doing and what could they do for us. Tropical drinks and cold water were aplenty throughout the resort. We never had to look — staff were always in the right place at the right time offering drinks.
Nickelodeon knows how to have FUN! From character breakfasts to interactive shows, Nickelodeon does family entertainment right. There were different shows each night offering a great end to our days.
