We are fortunate to live in a family friendly county, and the Anne Arundel County Fair later this week and weekend is one of the big reasons our county is the "Best Place for All" as the official county slogan says. You have a choice of 5 days to go, September 14-18.

From pig races, to 4-H exhibits, to concerts, to carnival rides, the fair is an unparalled five-day family fun event.

We're unapologetically biased towards kids 😉, so we're highlighting some of the fabulous fair events especially geared towards KIDS! Read below about Kids Day and the Cute Kids Contest.
🎡 Kids Day: Friday, September 16th
9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Children’s Day is open to preschool through elementary school age in this kid-friendly enviroment!
There is special pricing between 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM only on Friday 9/16: 8 and under are free, 9 and over are $5. Tickets are available at the gate.
Special activities for Kids Day include:
Pig and Duck Races
Livestock Animals
Free Kiddy Rides
Milking Cow Station
AACo Sheriffs office K-9 Demo at 11:00 AM

- Each age group is limited to the first 25 children

Our BOO Baskets for Halloween are coming back this year! We'll spreading joy across northern Anne Arundel County to 50 families. More information will be coming soon.

Lastly, our CALENDAR is chock full of family fun activities this weekend. In addition to the Anne Arundel County Fair, there is Smithsonian Free Museum Day, Party in the Park at Cafe Mezzanotte, Family Day At Hancock's Resolution, and Emergency Preparedness Expo just to name a few. Many are FREE!
