DodgeArrows is like dodgeball but with bows & soft-tipped arrows that’ll leave you and your family ducking, dipping and aiming for victory.
DodgeArrows features competitive gameplay, nerf battles for groups and soft archery-based activities for individuals and families. Games are scheduled for an hour, which includes time to learn how to use the bows and about 45 minutes of play.
Like group play, individual play uses soft-tipped arrows to overcome indoor soft archery challenges, perform trick shots and participate in other exhilarating games.
Recently, my family and partner Macaroni KID publishers in Anne Arundel County, along with our family and friends, had the opportunity to play a game of DodgeArrows. Our guests ranged from age 6 to 79, and everyone had a blast!

Top Five Reasons My Family and I Loved DodgeArrows Annapolis
1) Family-Friendly
DodgeArrows is perfectly suited for ages 6 and over. The arrows are so simple to use, even the littles can use them easily. Kids and adults alike loved the challenge of shooting at their friends and family, while also trying not get hit themselves. And a bonus: it's cool and unique way to sneak in some exercise for everyone.
There were so many smiles and laughter, and I loved seeing the excitement from literally everyone there. It's such a fun action-packed bonding experience like none other.

2) Indoor Facility
Of course we all love the great outdoors, but for planning family activities, it really is so nice to not have to watch the weather or wonder if plans will be cancelled. One less planning stressor to not not worry about!
DodgeArrows is in a spacious climate-controlled facility (in the Opportunity Builders building in Millersville). All areas were neat, clean and in great condition.

3) Group or Individual Games
DodgeArrows recently added a wonderful new option! Now you can book individual tickets, in addition to group play. Individual soft archery games are open to the public by appointment during select hours and days.
Note: On Wednesdays and Thursdays, $15 tickets are flexible and give you access to individual soft archery activities or to DodgeArrows Competitive Games if there are enough players. They encourage you to reserve tickets ahead of time as these activities tend to book fast and DodgeArrows cannot guarantee play time for those without reservations.

4) Equipment Included
Seriously one of the BEST parts of planning our DodgeArrows event was knowing that I did not have to bring anything for the game. SO easy!
All arrows and safety goggles are included. There are both right-handed and left-handed arrows, and there are many different sizes and designs of goggles. And wearing glasses is no problem. There are googles that fit right over your glasses.

5) Make It A Party
Schedule your game for a half hour longer, and have a party after! You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks (no alcohol, though) and decorations. There is a nice area to set up your party right outside the game area.
Or, you could literally just walk in with nothing at all! For an additional fee, DodgeArrows Annapolis can handle everything, including buying food and drinks for your party.
For parties/private groups, prices start at $360 for up to 12 players, and just $25 per additional player. There is plenty of space and seating for spectators to watch, take photos and watch the action unfold. Players can include a mix of both kids and adults, or just kids or just adults.
