Description
This free 2-day event on March 7th and 14th (9:30am to 12:00pm), is open to all parents and caregivers local to the Broadneck Community.
About this Event
Are you watching kids scroll through life, with their rapid-fire thumbs and a six-second attention span? Do you have a handle on the latest information about children and technology in today’s world? Parenting in this crazy age of technology is tough! This 2-Day symposium is designed to inform and highlight the challenges of raising children in a far different society due to the rapid increase in digital connectivity. This applies to parents of children ANY age!
Day 1 includes a special screening of the award-winning film SCREENAGERS.
Day 2 will address the impact that the newest devices and apps have on children's faith development and on their physical/mental well-being.
Our goal is to make sure parents leave with practical ideas that can be implemented right away including tools to help children find a sense of balance and make room for the love of God and family.
This Symposium is not appropriate for children 7th grade and younger. Parents are invited to bring their 8th grade and older children at their own discretion.
