2024 Glen Burnie Improvement Association's Annual Fireworks
EVENT DATE: Wednesday - July 3rd. Fireworks will start after sunset, approximately 9 pm.
RAIN DATE: Friday - July 5th
LOCATION: Sawmill Creek Park off of Dorsey Road.
PARKING
•Monsignor Slade School. Please note that once the lot fills up, access to this lot will be closed. Overflow parking is available at the Light Rail Station on B&A Blvd.
•Do not park at Cromwell Shopping Center – they will tow your car!
•HANDICAPPED PARKING, with a valid handicapped tag is available at Sawmill Creek Park.
•Overflow Handicapped parking (after Sawmill is full) will be at the Pascal Center at 125 Dorsey Rd. If you park at either of these locations, you will not be able to exit your parking space until the crowds have safely left the park.
DROP OFF AREA is at the Pascal Senior Center located beside Sawmill Creek Park (right pass the tennis courts), so you can drop off your family and chairs and then go park your car.
NO STOPPING ON DORSEY ROAD for drop off.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
•No alcohol
•No Smoking (this is an AACo Rec and Park policy)
•No fireworks or sparklers may be brought into the park.
•No Pets - please for the safety of all, especially your pet, do not bring any pets into the parks.
•Additional Viewing area: 3rd Avenue Park (which can be accessed by 3rd Avenue or from Lincoln Avenue). There is no parking at this location, so please be mindful of the residents that live in this area.
•Food is available for purchase at Sawmill at the Glen Burnie Boys Baseball concession stand.
RAIN DATE: Friday - July 5th. If fireworks are cancelled due to weather, we will post the notice on Facebook as soon as a decision is made. Please do not message or post requests for this information. We will be unable to reply to individual messages or posts.
