This Musical Theater Summer CAMP offers a 2-week immersive musical theater experience that promises to be engaging, challenging, and fun! AMTC (Annapolis Musical Theater Company) directed by Priscilla Smith, recognizes each child’s talent and gives him or her the necessary building blocks to grow as a performer. More importantly, AMTC believes that Theater brings us together. That it is in collaboration, not in competition, that we can be our best selves and create magic on the stage.
In this camp, kids will learn to put a musical together from the ground up. Students will be a part of almost every aspect of theater. Set designing and building, prop making, character development, choreography and dance training, voice training, backstage crew, costume design, and More! The clinic will include classes in voice, acting, and dance, with cutting-edge workshops, and will also get to learn set building skills by creating all the sets for their final performance which will take place on the last day.

Description: The Summer Intensive is a unique opportunity for students ages 8 to 18 interested in a focused, comprehensive training program to make technical progress in classical ballet and contemporary dance forms, and repertoire. Classes, led by Ballet Theatre of Maryland’s faculty and guest instructors, feature technique courses, acting seminars, choreography, and mini workshops. The goal of the Summer Intensive is to further students’ dance technique and artistry, creating well-rounded dancers and individuals.

The Bowie Baysox are offering three Youth Baseball Camp sessions during the summer of 2022! Each camp session will take place at Prince George’s Stadium - home of the Bowie Baysox! Camps will include instruction, drills and games and will be led by Orioles Hall of Fame Outfielder - AL BUMBRY, former Baysox Outfielder Steven Bumbry and other professional and collegiate instructors!
Each camp includes three days of baseball, a Baysox Hat and a final day pizza party! Registration will also include one (1) Undated Box Seat Ticket voucher valid for a 2022 Bowie Baysox Home Game.
Registration is limited in each session and each session is open to kids ages 6 - 14.

Theater in the Park Summer Camp

During the camp the kids will have an opportunity to make their own props and sets. Our staff is well versed and experienced in acting, singing and dancing. Each group will have a director and an assistant. They will work with an acting coach, vocal coach and dance coach as well as a craft instructor! The week will be filled with games, theater exercises while learning the techniques of the trade.
