The way I see it, there's not much more comforting and cozy than a small locally-owned coffee shop. We are lucky that many coffee shops in our area offer much more than just freshly brewed cups of joe. Teas, smoothies, sandwiches, sweet treats, and much more are on the menu. It's safe to say to each of these locations offers great coffee, so we're also featuring other parts of the shops that make them so special!
I have a confession to make though -- I'm not a coffee drinker, but I LOVE coffee shops. I love it all: the beautiful blend of aromas from roasted coffee beans and other delights, savoring my beverage of choice (tea), welcoming baristas, comfy chairs, homemade sandwiches and treats, and relaxed spaces to meet friends and clients.
Here at MacKID we are strong believers in shopping local and supporting area businesses. They are the backbone of our local economy and they support many community events and causes.

☕ What Makes It Special: Wonderful breakfast cookies, delicious Peanut Butter Bliss made by a local chocolatier, impressive selection of healthy smoothies (my favorite is the Green Gorilla made with peanut butter), speciality candles with amazing scents made in collaboration with local business The Blended Essentials, seating along the B&A Trail (Severna Park location)
6. The Coffee Trailer

☕ What Makes It Special: Scrumptious rotating seasonal drinks, selection of healthy drinks made with tumeric, ginger and cardamom, beautiful setting on the grounds of the Yoga Barn with ample outdoor seating
7. The Human Bean

☕ What Makes It Special: Drive-thru, delicious jalapeno sausage breakfast sandwich (my favorite breakfast sandwich that I could eat every day!), smoothies for kids, yummy chocolate-covered espresso beans on top of every drink
