👪 Sandwich Generation Series Of Articles: A Resource For Caretakers

Bookmark this guide a resource if you are or will be taking care of aging or ill loved ones

By Macaroni KID Pasadena-Severna Park-Glen Burnie November 8, 2023

Throughout 2023, one of our biggest projects here at Macaroni KID Pasadena-Severna Park-Glen Burnie this year was the Sandwich Generation article series.

The Sandwich Generation as defined by Merriam-Webster is, "a generation of people who are caring for their aging parents while supporting their own children."

Together with several local partners, we presented a series of five articles addressing topics that the Sandwich Generation often faces as they care for their aging or ill loved ones, such as hospitalizations, long-term care issues, and wills and estates.

To help you organize the articles, and to keep for future reference, we have created this "guide of articles" with links to ALL five articles in one central place.

It's hard enough to be caretakers for our older loved ones and our dependent children at the same time, so these are articles are designed to help you navigate these challenging times.

There is also information on many local resources to avail yourself to -- you are not alone!
